AUSTRALIAN F CLASS CAPTAINS SELECTED FOR NZ MATCH – BELMONT 2016

The NRAA Board are pleased to announce that the following people were selected as Captains for the two F Class Teams competing at the World Teams Championships in Canada during August 2017 plus the Trans-Tasman Match vs NZ

F Class Captains for Canada

Captain – F Open Team - Canada – Mr David McNamara

Captain – F TR Team - Canada – Mr Rod Mahon

F Class Trans-Tasman Match vs NZ – Belmont in June 2016

F Open Captain – Mr Bob Pedersen

FTR Captain – Mr Rod Mahon

No other positions have been selected or will be announced yet.

Captains are now consulting about the programs they wish to put in place for both Trials and then Training for the selected teams. People who nominated will then be contacted once this program is decided and approved by the NRAA.

The NRAA has now adopted a protocol where the selection of Coaches will be delayed and final choices made by the Captains as close as possible to the event, allowing the Captains as much flexibility as possible.

The NRAA is very pleased at the record number of nominations received for positions in these teams and wish the Captains all the very best. It is a great thing to be selected to represent Australia and we are sure that all participants will be great ambassadors for Australia.

Congratulations to David McNamara on his selection as Captain of the Australian F Open Team to Canada in August 2017. NQRA wishes David every success with the preparation to defend the World Championship title so richly deserved in 2013.
